Insulators, Semi-Conductors and Conductors in the Kitchen

            If there's a place in the house that I like most it is the kitchen.My mom cooks sumptuous and mouth watering foods.Sometimes,I help her cooking.We use different kinds of kitchen materials when we prepare and cook our favorite foods.

  

CONDUCTOR

           Conductors are materials that permit electrons to flow freely

from atom to atom and molecule to molecule.There are also conductors found

in the kitchen.Like whisk use to beat an egg, stainless bowl , knives,
 

kettle,sink,spatula and stainless faucet.All steal and metals that are found in 

the kitchen are conductor.

INSULATORS

     

        An insulator is a substance which does not readily allow the passage of

heat or sound.Insulators help us in many ways.For example tupperwares, we

use them to stock foods in the fridge and to keep our utensils away

from insects.Container for drinks and a lot more.

  

Semi-Conductor

          

           
             Semi-conductor is a solid substance that has a conductivity between that of an insulator and that of most metals, either due to the addition of an impurity or because of temperature effects. Devices made of semiconductors, notably silicon, are essential components of most electronic circuits.Most of the kitchen are loaded with appliances like microwave,oven toaster ,oven etc. that contains semiconductor.
       

         Things around us have their own functions and uses.They make our chores easier and convenient.

Save Money and Electricity

            Nowadays, electricity is often changing its price especially higher. People are making ways on how to produce electric in a lesser cost. Solar panel is the answer. Instead of high electricity bill monthly they purchase solar panels and install it in their houses. They have their own supply of electricity and minimize its use. Here is a sample scenario were the aspects of electricity are being use through a solar panels.
                 In a small town in Bonggao, Tawi-tawi  electricity is being supplied only in town proper .Those individuals who belongs to the royal family installed solar panels on their houses. They use batteries to collect electricity from the solar panels that makes their generators to function and supply electricity in their homes. The more solar panels the more electricity they gather. It makes their appliances functional.
                 Sometimes, their island experience typhoon and storm surge. Supply of electricity in the town proper was down. No means of communication. Lines are down. Lucky are those who have solar panels in their houses. They got supply of electricity in their own. They were able to have access to their relatives outside the island .While they gathered together in the living room hearing news from the transistor radio. Head of the family lit a match to kindle the fire woods in the chimney to keep them warm. They rub their hands as they feel the heat coming from the fire in the chimney. A servant was being told to fetch water from the artesian well and boil it for them to have hot chocolate as they wait for the news from the radio about what is happening outside.
            In this scene friction, magnetism, pressure, chemical reaction and solar energy is being specified. Electricity is very essential to our daily needs especially in urban and even in rural areas.
