Insulators, Semi-Conductors and Conductors in the Kitchen

If there's a place in the house that I like most it is the kitchen. My mom cooks sumptuous and mouth watering foods.Sometimes,I help her cooking. We use different kinds of kitchen materials when we prepare and cook our favorite foods.

CONDUCTOR

Conductors are materials that permit electrons to flow freely

from
atom to atom and molecule to molecule. There are also conductors found

in the
kitchen.Like whisk use to beat an egg, stainless bowl , knives,

kettle, sink, spatula and stainless faucet. All steal and metals that are found in

the kitchen are conductor.

INSULATORS

An insulator is a substance which does not readily allow the passage of

heat or
sound.Insulators help us in many ways. For example tupperwares, we

use
them to stock foods in the fridge and to keep our utensils away

from
insects.Container for drinks and a lot more.

Semi-Conductor

Semi-conductor is a solid substance that has a conductivity between that of an insulator and that of most metals, either due to the addition of an impurity or because of temperature effects. Devices made of semiconductors, notably silicon, are essential components of most electronic circuits. Most of the kitchen are loaded with appliances like microwave, oven toaster ,oven etc. that contains semiconductor.

Things around us have their own functions and uses. They make our chores easier and convenient.
